Reduction Of An Obese Abdomen

Generally, fat is necessary as it is what fills the spaces between the muscles that give shape to the body.

Fat becomes ugly to many when it becomes excessive. When it is excessive it cause problem to the sufferer.

Fat usually gathers to the parts of the body which have least activity. In other words, obesity is evidently caused by local inactivity.

Logically, the successful remedy would be muscular activity where the fatty deposit is situated.

Normally, it is advised that we walk or do brisk walk. It is highly recommended and undoubtedly beneficial to walk.  However, motion of the legs do not bring action to the abdomen where the fats are stored. Thus, there is a need to do a direct activity for the abdomen so that the fatty tissues may be dislodged. The assumption, if fat is accumulated due to inactivity, exercises will remedy the problem.

To reduce the fats in the abdomen is to massage while the abdominal muscles are tensed.

Fat is really carbon and the phenomena of spontaneous combustion – the cause of many mysterious fires – is a familiar illustration of the method by which fat is consumed in the system and why exercise of the muscles or friction of the fatty deposit will remove it.

When the muscles are exercised by alternate contraction and relaxation or vigorous rubbing, there is an increased flow of blood to that point, and therefore an increase of oxygen, as the red corpuscles, coming in contact with the carbon or fatty deposit, burn it up.  To simply explain, the pumping action of muscles during the exercises expels the ashes, or debris resulting from this comb us when, into venous and glandulous system.  It is then carried off by the ordinary excretions of the body.

Abdominal Exercises:

  • Tense the muscles of the abdomen and place the palms of the hands upon it.
  • Press down firmly, and rub the accumulation of fat back and forth, not permitting the hands to slip. (Otherwise, only the skin will be rubbed, and no benefit will result.)
  • Vary this process by striking the abdomen rapidly with your clenched fists, alternately contracting and relaxing the abdominal muscles.
  • The act of contracting is easily accomplished by raising the head while lying down.
  • These exercises are effective methods of attacking the objectionable deposit of fats.
  • And if systematically and persistently practiced will certainly achieve satisfactory results, which includes strengthening of abdominal muscles.
  • Both of these exercises can be performed most easily and effectively in a reclining position in bed.

Hula Hoop To Flatten Abs

Happy New Year! It’s new year and our tummy are full of the food we ate these  holiday celebrations…making our abs fatty and look like big bulge of circle.  Time to shed off that big bulge of fat…

…sa tingin nyo po, noh po ang pinaka-mabisang pampaliit ng bewang o pam-flat ng abs? In your opinion what is the most effective exercise to flatten abs?

…para po sa akin, ung mag-hoola hoop everyday for at least 15 minutes...for me, the most effective is to do hula-hoop for at least 15 minutes a day.

nabasa ko po sa book, kaya daw ang tyan, bewang, abdomen, belly, abs, tummy ang pinaka-tabaing bahagi ng katawan ng tao o where fats are deposited the most is because…fats or adipose tissues, being inert tissue, naturally gravitates to the point of least activity. And, our abdomen is the least we move unlike our legs, arms and back. We naturally move our legs, arms and back daily so fats are not deposited in these areas of the body.

Fats in the abdomen are caused by local inactivity. As such, the logical and effective remedy is muscular movements/activities. That’s why sometimes dieting or starving to death alone do not help or work. Mere walking, jogging or running alone will not solve the abdominal obesity, motions of the legs do not bring movements or actions to the tummy where the fats are deposited or stored. Hence, there is a need to do a direct activity for the abdomen so that the fatty tissues may be dislodged…

best po na igalaw ang tyan...hula hoop moves our abdomen and our entire mid-section…nde pa magastos:)

…and hula hoop is what I do every now and then…I hula hoop for 20 minutes 4 to 6 times a week…it worked for me…my abs is becoming flat and my waist is becoming small…I am becoming shapely now :) :):)…this is me after my hula hoop work-out…sarap mag-hula hoop…ahahaha….

Four Minute Exercise of Fit ‘n Right

A few months ago, I stumbled upon www.aspacio.net. In one of its blog posts, the site owner, Jeff mentioned about Fit ‘n Right and its four-minute exercise regimen.

I really stopped and read Jeff’s post–”I Dare You To Be Fit ‘n Right.” This post is worth sharing.  Because health is a major concern for everyone and everybody must strive and maintain to be healthy.  We only have one body and it is imperative that we take care of it. It is nice to know that there is such four-minute work-out.  A sure help to become healthy!  Thank you Jeff for having such a healthy article.

Here’s the post of Jeff…

There are many benefits to being fit ‘n right. Personally, as a lover of sports, more specifically football, I need to stay fit so I can still run with younger players and remain competitive. But, more than the need to keep fit, I do feel more alive and energetic when I am fit…I usually do a few push-ups a day and have been doing this regularly since April. Aside from that I used to play football on a regular basis and even played competitively for our football club Marikina United. I have always thought myself as a pretty fit person… Read More »
